Finish the Picture
This project was about taking a picture from a magazine and "finishing" it. We could decide from many different ways of finishing it. You could actually continue the picture or just add a background which had a certain relation with it. I decided to paint some mountains as a background for a picture of an incredible home in Ibiza. It gave it much more color and size. I used greens and gave it some texture. I decided to use this picture because the house really caught my attention.
I proved myself how creative I could be, because i decided to create a background for it instead of drawing another part of the house and similarly. The difficult part of this project was choosing the picture. There were so many different options that choosing the one I thought it was perfect was a challenge. I liked making this project because the final product had both real images and some made by me.

My beautiful friend Josefa
This project was about painting a picture of a person on a canvas using black and white colors. The most important part for the realization of this project was the correct use of shadows because that was what differenced the different tones. We used both thin and thick brushes for painting this. I decided to paint my best friend Josefa because she is really pretty and her pictures are amazing. I chose that exact picture because it was in black and white colors and it wasn't hard to re create it.
The most difficult part of this project was the face proportions, because if you have a lot of problems painting or drawing real human body proportions like me, it is even more difficult of you are depending on shadowing and contrasting of two colors. I enjoyed this project also because using all the different techniques of painting was fun, so I was able to experiment different ways of painting. I wanted to show people who don't believe in what art can demonstrate that even if your are not professional you can still reach a high level of painting or drawing if you put effort on it.

Sketches
Every week we are supposed to make one or two sketches. The sketches can be anything we want. This sketch I decided to do is a collage of pictures from movie starts who have won an Oscar. It not only showed their elegance, but also their high fashion styles. I cut out some pictures of a magazine and then pasted them all together until I was able to fill in almost all the blank spaces in the page.
I really liked making this sketch because it turned out to be a mix of different styles, it didn't look messy, but completely creative which I am not really good at, so I was proud of my work. I think there wasn't a difficult part in this project because cutting and pasting the pictures was a simple job. I created this sketch to show my friends you don't have to be an excellent paintor or drawer to make an interesting and eye catching piece of art.
